Finding daycare shouldn’t take a spreadsheet.

DaycareMap was built by Toronto parents who lived the childcare scramble: dozens of browser tabs, out-of-date phone numbers, waitlists everywhere, and no clear way to compare centres or keep track of where you’d applied. We wanted one calm place to find a spot and stay on top of it.

Information you can verify

Official licence data from the City of Toronto, the Province of Ontario, and the Province of British Columbia anchors every published facility. Regional and centre-level sources add capacity, quality, subsidy, availability, website, and application details where they publish them or we can verify them. Those added details are checked on different schedules. Always confirm the details that matter, fees and openings especially, directly with the centre.

How it works

  • Find. Search the map or list by your child’s age, distance, subsidy, CWELCC, and listed openings.
  • Save. Keep the centres you like in one place (no account needed; sign in to sync across devices).
  • Apply. Each centre applies differently, so we walk you through it and draft the message or call with you.
  • Track. Your board keeps every waitlist, position, and check-in in one place and flags when it’s time to follow up.

Where we publish today

We publish licensed child care across Ontario and British Columbia. Official licence coverage is province-wide, while richer details vary by service area, source, and centre.
